Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before empowering your restaurant operations with the Lekro platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Lekro platform, you (the “User” or “Restaurant”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Lekro provides a global software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform enabling restaurants worldwide to create digital menus, manage reservations, and host their own websites. We provide the technological infrastructure, but we do not prepare, sell, or deliver food.
3. Account & Security
To use Lekro, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload to your website. You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate, legal, and doesn’t violate copyrights. Lekro reserves the right to remove non-compliant content.
5. Data Privacy and GDPR Compliance
The Restaurant acknowledges that it is the “Data Controller” of all Diner data collected through its Lekro website. The Restaurant warrants that it will obtain all necessary legal consents from Diners (including EEA residents under the GDPR) before collecting personal data. Lekro acts solely as a “Data Processor” and is not liable if a Restaurant fails to obtain proper consent. By using our services to process EEA data, you agree to our standard Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
6. Service Availability and Limitation of Liability
Lekro is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for maximum uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lekro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost reservations arising from platform downtime or technical failures.
7. Subscription and Billing
Lekro offers paid subscription plans. Subscriptions bill automatically based on your chosen billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
8. Governing Law and International Use
While Lekro is a global platform serving restaurants worldwide, our business operations are headquartered in Egypt. Therefore, these Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Cairo, Egypt. By using our platform, international users agree to comply with all local laws regarding constraints and online conduct in their respective countries.
